Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Logistics Project Manager, to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Logistics Project Manager
**Location:** On-site Dekalb, IL
**Pay Range:** $183,000 - $224,000
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Utilize a broad range of improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to drive quality improvements.
+ Conduct process analysis and optimization to identify inefficiencies and develop optimized workflows.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
+ Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and make data-driven decisions.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, industrial engineering, finance, or business.
+ 8 years of work experience in supply chain, distribution, or logistics.
+ 3 years of experience specifically in project leadership or operations excellence.
+ PMP certification or Project Management/Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions.
