Job Title: Logistics Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of projects. The ideal candidate will be assertive, capable of developing long-term relationships with clients, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. A passion for exceptional customer service and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and understand the technical complexities of amusement/theme park rides, is required.

Responsibilities

Manage the full life cycle of projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.Oversee project administration, including issuing contracts, purchase orders, and payments to vendors.Coordinate global and domestic shipping logistics.Support onsite staff during installation and maintain weekly progress reports on fabrication.Issue customer invoices and follow up on payments.Track costs for new rides and service projects.Coordinate design reviews and meetings.

Essential Skills

10+ years of hands-on project management experience running full life cycles.In-depth knowledge of steel construction, welding, fasteners, machining, bearings, wheels, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and human factors.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Solidworks.Excellent typing and grammar skills with a precise phone voice.Advanced proficiency in project cycle management, project coordination, and construction documentation.Ability to sort through raw data and produce matrices.Strong personnel, project, and time management skills.Detail-oriented and organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $60.06/hr.
