We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Logistics Procurement Systems Analyst in Morton, IL.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Procurement Systems Analyst supports the execution of designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring procurement capabilities to provide business solutions that are globally effective & applicable.

What You Will Do:

Supporting projects associated with lean processes, global market understanding, tools, and systems especially Salesforce and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Designs and develops solutions, collaborates with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepares implementation plans for successful deployment.Contributes to strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and development of associated tools & training.Serves as the lead technical representative for a respective discipline, and will work directly with a wide range of procurement / enterprise representatives, including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.

What You Have (Required Skills):

Data-driven Decision Making: Knowledge of the data-driven decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to gather and analyze data to make organizational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.Procurement: Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices, and use tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment and services needed to conduct business.Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.Transportation management systems (TMS) experienceSalesforce experience

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
