**Job Summary:**
Position consists of receiving direct material shipments for hose production and moving this material to proper Point of Use (POU) locations. When shipping documents are not accurate, person will conduct root cause analysis to reconcile inventory and systems. This position works with the facility Direct Materials Logistics Planning Analyst and Suppliers to maintain accurate inventory records. Position also provides back Inventory Analyst. Coordinates inbound and outbound material activities on the shop floor to ensure that internal and external customers are provided with on-time delivery. Maintains a high level of communication between the external customers, external supplies, Hose and Coupling Marketing Group, GHA Operations and GHA Leadership. Requires strong organizational, customer service and communication skills.
**Job Duties:**
+ Issues count request for all direct inventory of incoming material
+ Does root cause analysis of count discrepancies
+ Reconciles discrepancies in count with Mach 1 and MRC records
+ Does root cause analysis of any shipping discrepancies
+ Works with suppliers on required documents (ASN's, packing lists, etc.)
+ Moves incoming material to inventory locations
+ Monitors and manages customer demand
+ Maintains all required shipping metrics on facility performance
+ Fields all calls regarding customer shipping grief and customer order status
+ Communicates customer issues to the appropriate contact and follows up to ensure acceptable resolution has been reached
+ Communicates with Logistics team members any customer expectation requests and special orders
+ Updates and creates customer information in SAP/Mach 1 system
+ Creates and manages customs and shipping documents and Bills of Lading
+ Manages the purchase of shipping and packing materials
+ Willing to cross train in Logistics department
+ Must have a working knowledge of Mach 1 / SAP / MRC connect
**Background / Desired Experience:**
+ Computer Skills - Prior use of software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Photo editing and/or other graphic design.
+ Leadership - Trustworthy, acts with integrity, and demonstrates ability to maintain focus of a group staying on task.
+ Knowledge of Hose Manufacturing - Ability to understand the interrelationships of GHA processes. Possesses knowledge of various HP manufacturing functions or the ability to locate and utilize the necessary information from a variety of sources.
+ Teamwork - Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and to take initiative to develop a spirit of teamwork with subject matter experts and other disciplines.
+ Reliability - Can be counted on to work when needed to interface with team members on all shifts.
+ Accountability - Person should be dependable, self-starter, responsible for initiating, controlling and concluding job tasks.
+ Communication - Must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of GHA employees. Communication must be clear, to the point, logical and complete. Must be able to listen effectively.
+ Customer Focus - Must be able to understand the role of a service organization by providing timely and quality products and services.
+ Quality Focus - Attention to quality in their own work and the work of others.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$20.85 - $25.95
