Logistics Operations Manager

We are currently hiring a Logistics Operations Manager at our Germany Location!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support our EU operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain firsthand experience in supply chain analytics, import/export compliance, and 3PL operations support.

Typical pay for this position is 65.000 EUR annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.

Responsibilities  

Act as primary point of contact for all EU logistics related questions. This includes but is not limited to: Ship methods Shipment tracking Order and item status Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day 3PL operations.  This includes regular visits to the 3PL warehouse.  Critical items include but not limited to: Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) & Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance: OTIF (on-time, in-full) Order consolidation Order quality & accuracy Dock to Stock Support 3PL RFP activities, when necessary Coordinate with internal teams (IE: CM/Sales), 3PL providers, forwarders and customs brokers to support smooth logistics flows. Assist in monitoring inbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods, communicating with the necessary teams when appropriate. Ensure efficient delivery of goods to meet business requirements (IE: ETR’s) Work with forwarder (K&L/Imperative) to ensure vendor documentation exists to proactively clear goods with Zoll (DE customs) Creation and maintenance of customs documentation/instructions EU Intrastat reporting/filings, EAR, Zentek, RLG, CBAM Maintain item master including HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes, in collaboration with forwarder and US Logistics Rework planning and execution Perform basic data entry and reporting using Excel, WMS, or 3PL software systems.

Education & Experience 

5 years of industry experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution operations or a related field. Internship or coursework in logistics, international trade, or customs compliance preferred but not required.

Skills: 

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic understanding of logistics, inventory, or customs processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data entry and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Familiarity with EU/US import/export processes and FTZ concepts (e.g., duty deferral, zone admissions). Experience with ERP, WMS, logistics or FTZ software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Certifications or coursework in trade compliance or supply chain is a bonus.

Working Conditions: 

Primarily office-based; will involve time in warehouse environments. May require occasional overtime during reporting periods or audits.
