SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Logistics National Account Manager for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. This person will be responsible for building and growing relationships with customers and transportation partners in the freight brokerage industry. The role will focus on managing clients’ trucking freight needs, providing innovative service solutions and driving brokerage and logistics growth while ensuring client satisfaction. Onsite or remote opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and grow a customer portfolio by offering transportation and logistics solutions. Serve as the primary contact for clients, coordinating needs and resolving issues. Identify and close new business opportunities with current and prospective clients. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of logistics services. Manage the full cycle of client service – from inquiry and quoting, to booking and follow-up. Provide consistent communication and updates to clients regarding their shipments. Support improvements in service delivery and efficiency across operations. Uphold professional standards and deliver excellent customer service. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of business strategies. Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in logistics, customer account management, or sales required. Broad range of transportation clients and providers. Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team. Proficient in using office tools and systems for client and shipment tracking. Customer-focused, with a problem-solving mindset.
