Summary About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Assistant Director Support, Medical Logistics (MEDLOG), Logistics Enterprise Operations Division, Knowledge Management Branch, and it is located in Fort Detrick, MD. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced In Hire may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Responsibilities Serve as the DHA MEDLOG Directorate expert to identify methods for creating, presenting, and tracking training on MEDLOG automation and processes, including DML-ES products like DMLSS, LogiCole, GFEBS, MHS Genesis, and JMAR. Apply accepted techniques to plan, direct, and coordinate all activities involved in the instructional design process for DHA Medical Logistics training programs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, deliver, evaluate, and sustain DHA Medical Logistics training and training programs. Design and plansfor the delivery and management of DMLSS and LogiCole training to provide solutions for a well-trained MEDLOG community. Analyze and formulate training needs assessments and recommendations based on research of Medical Logistics policy, reports, statistical data, and surveys. Apply DoD Medical Supply Chain principals and policy to analyze needs, provide feedback, and corrective action plans towards DHA Medical Logistics training program effectiveness. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) integrating medical logistics automation technologies such as DMLSS; 2.)managing enterprise-wide training programs; and 3.) developing plans and/or policies for medical logistics systems.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
