Job Description
As a Logistics Leader in Camrose, AB, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and enhancing our order processing capabilities. You will work closely with a collaborative team, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and define import/export functions, ensuring compliance with due dates.Oversee order processing procedures, ensuring they are responsive and synchronized to client requirements.Develop an integrated order entry capability and ensure real-time order tracking.Implement collaborative planning, forecasting, and stock replenishment strategies.Ensure production allocation optimizes load balance and assess the impact of demand variation on capacity, productivity, and inventory.Comply with all company policies, procedures, and management standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations.Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures, report incidents or observations, perform inspections, and participate in the investigation process.Motivate, coach, and develop staff while managing HR-related activities according to Human Resources norms and procedures.Protect facilities, equipment, and other physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in logistics.Experience with large ERP software.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP.Experience in training or mentoring team members.Background in steel manufacturing and project management.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in logistics, data/business analytics, and/or project management.Experience in oil & gas or manufacturing.Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Computer Programming, or Engineering preferred.Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.Work Environment
You will work three days in Camrose, with a flexible schedule starting at 8 am. You will have direct reports, including two logistics analysts and potentially one senior analyst, all of whom are self-sufficient. The team is a tight-knit group based in Camrose, and you will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47.11 - $63.94/hr.
