Logistics Coordinator (ROC-RGM)
Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will act as a Remote Gate Agent, supporting numerous drivers nationwide through two-way audio/video communication. You will verify truck specifications and processes while coordinating, communicating, and providing daily updates to all parties involved in warehouse operations. This role requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in technical tasks. You will manage approximately 200 driver interactions daily, making excellent communication skills essential.

ResponsibilitiesVerify truck specifications and processes using audio/video communication.Coordinate and communicate updates regarding arrivals, loading, unloading, and departures at warehouses and distribution centers.Support gate operations to allow onsite associates to focus on daily operations.Engage in clear communication with approximately 200 drivers per day.Essential SkillsExperience with Microsoft Office applications.Customer service orientation.Strong phone etiquette.High volume call center customer support experience (1+ year).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow SOPs.Additional Skills & QualificationsDetail-oriented and quick learning capabilities.Technical savviness and logistics knowledge.Experience in intermodal logistics.Inbound call center experience.Strong job tenure and retail customer service experience from companies like Starbucks or the restaurant industry.Work Environment

The position requires on-site work five days a week. Training will be conducted Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, for three weeks. The first day of training is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, followed by standard hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Post-training schedule starts Sunday, consisting of Friday to Tuesday shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Wednesday and Thursday off. Mandatory overtime is expected during peak seasons from October to January, which includes a sixth workday and 10-hour shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
