Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join the Starline Team in Reading, UK. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the transportation management of completed customer orders in accordance with the regulatory guidelines of governing bodies from the UK plant to the customers facility.
What Will You Do?
Logistics Duties:
Requesting & reviewing quotes from freight service providersPlanning, booking transport & tracking orders by various methods to customersServe as a point of contact with internal departments, customers and external partnersPrepare and manage necessary shipping documents to ensure all operations comply with national and international laws, regulations and customs procedureCompliance Responsibilities:
Completing auditing of customs declarations and reporting back to the Logistics Team Leader on any compliance issuesFollowing up non-compliance with customs brokers and/or freight service providersApplying to Chamber of Commerce for Certificates of Origin, ATRs, EUR1 and other documentsIssuing Import or Export instructions to freight forwarders QualificationsEducation: GCSE Level or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years working in a logistics-based environment
