We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our shipping operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the smooth flow of logistics and requires a dependable individual who can assist in various tasks across the department.
ResponsibilitiesProvide a second check verification of accuracy for shipments leaving the company.Assist in various tasks in the logistics department.Receive and restock shipping supplies.Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, especially as a 'floater' supporting several departments.Assist with customer service needs, including answering phones and greeting visitors professionally.Perform daily second checks for all outgoing orders, ensuring material accuracy compared to paperwork.Assist in packaging orders for shipments.Train to be a backup for ELISA Kit and AP vials order fulfillment.Receive and organize shipping supplies into the warehouse and notify logistics manager of low inventory.Manage ice packs in the freezer.Notify shipping manager of low shipping supply inventory as needed.Receive water deliveries.Facilitate lab coats and laundry pickup and drop-off.Assist in vialing, labeling, raw material receiving, and material requests as needed.Keep work and storage areas clean and remove garbage as necessary.Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.Respectfully take direction from the Logistics Manager.

Work Environment
The role requires standing approximately 80% of the day, with some desk work involved. The environment is casual, but employees must dress presentably in jeans and a shirt. The position involves covering for reception duties as needed and requires frequent computer use. No headphones are allowed to maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
