Logistics Coordinator
**Job Title: Logistics Coordinator** Job Description The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely scheduling and coordination of deliveries, drivers, and fleet operations. This position acts as the primary liaison between the operations team, drivers, and customers to facilitate seamless dispatch processes and maintain service excellence. Responsibilities + Coordinate daily dispatch schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. + Assist customers at the fuel racks. + Provide shuttle service for drivers going to and from the service shop. + Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions, resolve issues, and relay updates. + Generate sales orders and maintain load documentation. + Organize pre-billing and prepare for the next day’s activities. + Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure delivery requirements are met. + Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace. + Retrieve necessary items and materials from the warehouse to the tank shop. + Assume dispatcher duties when they are out for any reason. + Respond to customer inquiries or complaints related to deliveries and coordinate solutions. + Embrace new responsibilities as your experience grows. + Answer phones and emails in support of dispatch operations. + Learn fuel, oil, and lubricant products for knowledge of the industry. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
