Job Description
The primary function of a Logistics Coordinator is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. This role involves reviewing and distributing production work and shipment schedules, as well as compiling reports on inventory levels, costs, and related factors.
Responsibilities
• Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities.
• Record production data including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
Essential Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing labor and materials.
• Proficiency in accurately documenting and recording customer/client information.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
• Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Recent experience with Excel.
• Experience in logistics or trucking.
• Experience working within a team or supporting a team.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time of 7 AM, although earlier start times are possible. This position offers a hybrid work model, with remote work on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and on-site work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
