My client, a reputable logistics company in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring for a Logistics Coordinator!
Job Description:
Revise and Quote Shipments: Update shipment instructions and quotes, request missing information if needed.Email Management: Respond to emails promptly.Shipment Handling: Follow executive instructions and company policies.Data Entry: Create shipper, consignee, and vendor profiles; open and update shipment records.Payment Collection: Collect payments as per instructions (PIA or COD).Scheduling: Arrange daily pickups with vendors and follow up until delivery.Documentation Verification: Ensure shipment documentation matches cargo quantities.Compliance: File AES for shipments over $2,500 and request necessary authorizations.Booking and Documentation: Request bookings, generate shipment documents, and send pre-alerts.Customer Updates: Notify customers of shipment status and delays.Quote Requests: Request commercial support quotes and revise consignment instructions.Warehouse Coordination: Send loading plans and assist with cargo identification.Billing: Invoice shipments, send invoices to customers, and manage cost sheets.Discrepancy Management: Address shipment discrepancies and open disputes with vendors.Government Compliance: Manage document transmission for domestic shipments.Reporting: Notify supervisors of volume changes and report any irregularities.Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.Qualifications to Apply:

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
