Our work depends on a Logistics Analyst joining our team and developing life cycle sustainment plans (LCSPs) utilizing their logistics experience to ensure our Army’s products are ready to be fielded following DoW requirements and able to meet the acquisition timeline to make is way to the Warfighter.
Work with acquisition program leads, engineers, and other stakeholders during all phases of the DoW acquisition lifecycle to align sustainment strategies with medical operational needs and to develop LCSPs for multiple medical and non-medical products.Develop and manage detailed LCSPs for medical equipment in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.91, tailored to the unique requirements of the Armed Services' healthcare systems.Analyze system requirements and operational support strategies to ensure medical devices maintain performance standards throughout their lifecycle.Ensure sustainment strategies support mission readiness, follow defense acquisition guidelines, and comply with DoW lifecycle logistics and medical equipment sustainment processes.Integrate maintenance, supply chain management, medical-specific supportability considerations, and disposal into the LCSP.Work with the project team to ensure consideration of medical systems’ reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) to develop tailored logistics support packages.Work with the project team to ensure components requiring maintenance have supply chain pathways that are timely and accessible in forward-deployed environments.Present updates on LCSP progress to leadership.Participate in Integrated Production Teams (IPTs), working groups, and other meetings.Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers.Develop, coordinate, maintain, and update supportability documents.Participate in special projects as required.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.Required Experience: 5+ years of related lifecycle logistics experience, medical or non-medical.Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of DoW acquisition policies, lifecycle logistics, and the roles of LCSP within defense programs.Preferred Technical Skills: Experience sustaining medical equipment in military or similar environments, with an understanding of unique military healthcare operational requirements.Security Clearance Level: NA – T1 Public TrustRequired Skills and Abilities: Exceptional communication and technical writing skills for documenting LCSPs and collaborating with diverse teams. Adept at cross-functional teamwork and engaging multiple stakeholders. Ability to execute using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Microsoft Outlook.Location: Fort Detrick, Maryland - Hybrid (2 days telework)Travel: Occasional Travel is required (10%)US Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
