About the Role

AutoZone is seeking a dynamic Logistics Analyst to take charge of the final leg of our global supply chain—ensuring seamless delivery of over 15,000 import containers annually from U.S. ports to our distribution centers. What You’ll Do
As a Logistics Analyst, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our import logistics network. You’ll:
Own the Last Mile: Manage the journey of import ocean containers from U.S. ports to AutoZone Distribution Centers.
Lead Provider Performance: Coordinate with 7+ drayage and transload providers to ensure timely pickups, returns, and high-quality service.
Drive Cost Efficiency: Audit and validate $100M+ in invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with negotiated contracts.
Be the Connector: Serve as the liaison between logistics providers and internal teams (Replenishment, Sourcing, Merchandising, Finance).
Optimize Operations: Forecast volumes, resolve freight release and customs issues, and reduce container fees.
Champion Communication: Chair weekly meetings with providers and DCs, and maintain open lines with all stakeholders.
Support Strategic Initiatives: Assist in contract negotiations, vendor onboarding, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

15,000+ containers annually
1,500–2,500 containers in transit at any time
$100M+ in logistics spend
6+ ocean carriers, 7+ dray/transload providers
What You Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
1–3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred:
1–2 years of international logistics experience
Knowledge of U.S. Customs and federal transportation policies
Advanced understanding of drayage and import operations
