Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Logistics Administrator, to join their team. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting production and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Logistics Administrator
**Location:** Forest City, IA (100% onsite)
**Pay Range:** $17 to $19 p/h on w-2
**Duration** 12 month contract
**Shift -** Ability to work possible 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on shift availability.
**What's the Job?**
+ Coordinate production schedules to meet customer requirements and ensure timely delivery.
+ Assist in controlling inventory levels and order packaging materials as needed.
+ Code and process orders by recording all job tickets with relevant scheduling data and special instructions.
+ Coordinate daily workload with team members to ensure work orders and demand requirements are completed efficiently.
+ Deliver daily plans and orders to appropriate personnel and perform other duties as assigned.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED or higher education completed prior to start.
+ 1 years of related job experience, with proficiency in coordinating schedules and managing reports.
+ Ability to work possible 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on shift availability.
+ Basic mathematical skills and effective communication abilities.
+ Post high school specialized trade or job skills training or an apprenticeship program is preferred.
