Logistics Account Specialist
Subject: Hiring Opportunity – Account Specialist Role with Transportation Services Rapidly expanding tech company is seeking Account Specialists to enhance the shipper experience for vendors and sellers using Inbound Transportation. This role is ideal for candidates who are tech-savvy, possess strong Excel skills, and have experience in account or vendor management, particularly in B2B environments. Strong written and verbal communication is essential, along with the ability to navigate multiple systems and manage real-time transportation disruptions. Position Overview: Account Specialist + Pay Rate: Up to $23.00/hr + Team Focus: Improving shipper performance through coaching, data analysis, and defect resolution Key Responsibilities + Monitor, verify, and present transportation data daily + Identify and resolve transportation defects and disruptions + Maintain logs and lead weekly calls with assigned shippers + Conduct Daily Business Review stand-up calls + Collaborate with internal teams to drive performance improvements Must-Have Skills + Tech-savvy with ability to navigate multiple databases and systems + Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) + Experience in account or vendor management supporting B2B clients + Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills + Background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, intermodal, or sales + Strong relationship-building and organizational abilities + Experience managing disruptions and coordinating across teams + Candidates from industries like event planning, real estate, or hospitality have shown success in similar roles Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
