Number 173821 Job Description Position Summary The logistic supervisor will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing delivery routes and driver team for distribution center Duties & Responsibilities + Daily dispatch of deliveries and fleet for assigned location within a direct store delivery network. + Assigning and supervising driver personnel with a focus on safety/regulatory compliance and controlling and maintaining delivery efficiency goals while meeting or exceeding customer service level expectations. + Ensure Delivery Driver SOPs are adhered to + Daily reconciliation of routes and driver performance through GEOTAB + Other duties as assigned Education and experience + High school diploma or equivalent is required, Associates degree preferred + 3 years of recent/prior fleet/driver supervisory/management experience + Previous experience with routing and driver dispatching + Prior driving experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication + Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities + Keep organization and time management skills + Good collaboration and teamwork abilities + Great leadership and goal-setting skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Route planning and analysis + Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes + Strong verbal communication skills + Strong customer service skills + Ability to exercise good judgement and work independently + Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Physical Demands/Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
