 Inviting applications for the role of Logical Data Modelling Analyst- Senior Manager, Risk and regulatory practice- English

In this role, this position requires a seasoned professional as a Senior Manager with specialized knowledge of data behind traded, credit and/or non-financial risks. The role focuses on defining, governing, and evolving logical data models that underpin across risk types reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

You will primarily operate as a consultant leading and delivering risk consulting engagements across Traded, Credit and/or Non-Financial Risk, covering both regulatory and quantitative topics. The role requires close engagement with senior stakeholders across the bank, including Risk, Technology, Transformation, and Systems teams, to understand end-to-end data flows, system architecture, and risk processes. You will be responsible for defining data lineage, identifying data gaps and controls, and translating complex risk and regulatory requirements into robust logical data models that support risk measurement, reporting, and regulatory compliance; Your activities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Manage internal team and client stakeholders

Lead the design, ownership, and maintenance of logical data models supporting Traded Risk, Credit Risk and/or Non-Financial Risk domains.

Work as a senior data authority across risk stripes, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with enterprise data architecture standards.

Partner closely with Risk, Front Office, System Technology, and Regulatory Reporting teams to ensure accurate representation of risk data requirements.

Drive data lineage, data quality, and control frameworks for risk data, supporting regulatory submissions, stress testing, and internal risk reporting.

Provide oversight and challenge on model and data assumptions, ensuring logical models accurately reflect risk behaviors and regulatory intent.

Support regulatory initiatives (e.g. BCBS 239, stress testing, capital and liquidity reporting) by ensuring well-governed, transparent risk data models.

Influence strategic initiatives aimed at simplifying, standardizing, and modernizing risk data across the bank.

Lead, train, and mentor junior members in the team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Propose recommendations to improve monitoring systems and capabilities based on identified risk and control gaps.

Remain up to date with the evolving regulatory landscape related to market risk/counterparty credit risk and contributing to the creation of whitepapers. Researching and contributing to artifacts creation as required in a consulting role.

Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders (at all levels of seniority).

Internal and client team management, program management, driving project delivery, delivery ownership, identifying sales opportunities etc.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

Some years of relevant experience in FO pricing, valuation control, developing, validating models and risk management of market (traded) risk and non-traded risk models

Some of relevant experience in Risk Data Modelling / Risk Analytics / Risk Architecture within a Tier-1 financial institution.

Understanding of derivatives including vanilla and exotic products and their sensitivities, VaR, FRTB etc.

Hands-on experience defining credit risk data lineage across source systems (origination, servicing, collateral, finance) through to risk and regulatory reporting.

Knowledge of credit portfolios including wholesale, retail, and counterparty credit risk, with an understanding of associated data complexities.

Strong understanding of NFR taxonomies, risk and control frameworks (RCSA), loss events, issues and actions, and scenario analysis.

Proven capability to design logical data models for NFR data, ensuring consistency across risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Ability to partner with Technology, Transformation, and Business teams to support NFR system implementations, data remediation, and control enhancements.

Ability to engage senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Technology, and Regulatory Reporting functions to resolve data quality and consistency issues.

Strong communication/presentation skills – written verbal.

Strong proficiency in developing PowerPoint presentation, advanced excel, and report writing.

Lead projects and teams - provide thought leadership, technical guidance, training, and oversight. review it
