Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services has an opening for a Locksmith in Herndon, VA.  The Locksmith will troubleshoot and maintain equipment. The scheduled hours are: 6am - 2pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance of all doors and associated equipment on site.Assist with the troubleshooting of all door equipment on site.Institute the corrective action and/or inform his supervisor of any deficiencies found in the course of performing the job.Maintain the locksmith computer program on site.Perform other tasks as directed by his supervisor. Qualifications Hold a Locksmith Certification.Hold or have the ability to acquire X-09/X-10 CertificationBe able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Trade.Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Tools in Trade.Must be able to obtain and maintain an ISSA TS/SCI w/Poly

 

Physical Demands Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs / push up to 100 lbs)Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, parts.Manual dexterity and mobilityConsiderable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
