**Job Title: Locksmith $25-30/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Locksmith to join our team and work the daylight shift from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. The position involves performing skilled locksmith trade work for all university buildings and structures, ensuring compliance with city, state, and county regulations. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the entire keying system or systems for the campus. + Provide a proprietary and confidential key/lock program for all buildings. + Maintain the working operation of all doors, windows, and related hardware as needed. + Perform all duties associated with the securing of all facilities owned and operated by the university. + Cut keys, re-pin tumblers, and reset electronic locking systems as needed. + Assist other trades as needed and provide additional assistance during campus emergencies or events. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the locksmith field + Licensed and bonded as required by the state + Certified locksmith + Skilled in the use of all related locksmith tools and able to set up key systems for entire buildings + Ability to perform general carpentry duties to repair or replace doors and windows + Proficient in reading blueprints and related specifications + Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with key systems, drilling, hand tools, electrical, mechanical, doors, troubleshooting, inspection, compliance, blueprints, and schematics **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values your expertise in a supportive and collaborative campus setting.
