**Service Technician- Local Travel** 1st shift Pay: $22-$24hr Direct Hire **Job Description** As a Service Technician, you will travel to various customer sites within the Dayton area to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations for industrial and commercial companies. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including chains, bearings, motors, drive systems, sprockets, and gears. + Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. + Installs + Conduct low voltage wiring and control panel troubleshooting up to 220v. + Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair work. + Undertake welding and fabrication tasks as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical work + Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr. - Health, Dental, Vision - 401k with company match - PTO/Vacation and sick days - Company vehicle **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Vandalia,OH. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Jul 4, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
