The PositionLocal Safety Officer (LSO) Quality & Regulatory Diagnostics Baltics position of ​Fixed term 24-month, starting from 1st of April 2026

Do you possess a passion for healthcare compliance and a strategic mindset for quality management? Join Roche Diagnostics Baltics as a Local Safety Officer (LSO) Quality & Regulatory. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality compliance and effective regulatory surveillance across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the Quality Management System (QMS), oversee regulatory intelligence, and ensure our life-saving products meet the highest standards of safety and excellence.

The Opportunity:​ 

Fixed term Local Safety Officer (LSO) Quality & Regulatory Diagnostics Baltics position of 24-month, starting from 1st of April 2026

In this role, you will be responsible for several critical workstreams:

Quality & Compliance Management: Authorize changes in post-market quality processes, maintain the QMS, and ensure local procedures meet Roche's global  and local regulatory requirements.

Safety & Surveillance: Initiate and monitor all safety-related activities, ensuring timely reporting of Safety Board Notifications (SBN) to local customers and authorities.

Process Excellence: Analyze and document current processes to identify areas for improvement and drive plans to enhance operational efficiency.

3rd Party Oversight: Manage the quality standards for suppliers and distributors, including conducting audits and ensuring Quality Assurance Agreements are in place.

Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor changes in local regulations to ensure company policies and procedures remain compliant and provide regulatory guidance during product lifecycles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the local single point of contact for Global QMS requirements, collaborating with marketing, service, sales, and logistics teams to integrate quality and regulatory considerations into business operations.

Who You Are:

Experienced Professional: Demonstrated background in quality and regulatory management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry.

QMS Expert: Expertise in maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensuring compliance and implementing internal controls; understanding of ISO standards.

Analytical Problem-Solver: Strong ability to identify quality risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn and proficient in specialized IT tools for case handling, promotional material review, regulatory review, improvement and resolution management, process mapping, QMS monitoring, certificate management, etc.

Effective Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, lead negotiations, and resolve conflicting situations.

High Integrity and Adaptability: Strong ethical judgment while remaining agile in responding to evolving global regulations and standards.

Detail-Oriented: Committed to accurate documentation and promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.

Salary starts from 2100 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
