Job Overview

EMEA Regulatory Reporting Citi Solutions Centre (CSC) in Budapest is a key part of the Finance function.  It is Citi’s pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of reporting across multiple countries.  As part of the LRR Automations team the LRR Senior Business Analyst acts as a bridge between finance and technology operations and supports the implementation of the firm’s strategic technology solutions across the region.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, tasks, resources, and timelines. Developing detailed project plans,Stakeholder Management: Identifying, engaging, and managing the expectations of all project stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, vendors, and senior management.Risk Management: Identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.Schedule Management: Creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and adjusting timelines as needed.Assess the impact of system implementations on existing local regulatory reporting processesUnderstand, document and represent the business requirements of local regulatory reporting on program/project levelInterpret policies and guidelines, analyse data and processesContribute to the design, roll-out and governance of the strategic tech solutionsPrepare and execute test scripts for the solution developedDocument new processes and prepare user guides for new systems and featuresAct as SME to senior stakeholders and other team membersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are madeExercise independence of judgement and autonomyExpress a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting or system implementation rolesExperience in Business Analysis and/or with Reporting (preferably Regulatory Reporting)Excellent relational, communication and presentation skills (high level of PowerPoint competency and visual storytelling skills required)Technology aptitude: you will have to co-operate with Technology staffAdvanced Microsoft Office skills

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree
