As a Vice President Deal Set Up Funding Manager in the Deal Set Up and Funding team, you will lead professionals facilitating syndicated loans for Fortune 500 companies through the deal closing process. You will drive operational excellence, foster cross-functional partnerships, and ensure a first-class client experience. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing talent, optimizing processes, and delivering results aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Deal Set Up and Funding professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvementOversee collaboration across multiple teams to ensure accurate interpretation and processing of loan documentation for new deals and amendmentsProvide strategic oversight of closing-related fees and principal payments, ensuring compliance and accuracyManage and prioritize the team’s pipeline of transactions, addressing complex and high-value dealsReview and govern exception reports related to recently closed transactions, driving resolution and process enhancementsMonitor and report on team performance metrics, maintaining a low quality control error rateServe as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and secondary approvals as neededBuild and maintain strong relationships with front office, legal, transaction coordinators, and account servicing teams to deliver exceptional client serviceRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fieldStrong understanding of finance and loan products, with experience in syndicated loansDemonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and driving resultsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levelsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Commercial banking experience, preferably in a leadership roleSyndicated loan experienceLOAN IQ experience
