Job Summary
As a Loan Origination & Closing Specialist within our Multifamily and Commercial Lending team, you play a key role in supporting our lending services. You manage the end-to-end loan origination and closing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of transactions. You work closely with internal and external partners, helping us deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards. Your attention to detail and ability to resolve issues directly impact our clients and the success of our business.

Job responsibilities

Prepare and finalize loan origination documentation for multifamily and commercial transactionsReview closing packages, including HUD Settlement Statements, for accuracy and complianceManage relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendorsIdentify and resolve issues during loan origination and closingCoordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure timely transaction completionApply knowledge of real estate laws, title policies, and escrow setupsAudit loan documents and oversee closing package finalizationMaintain accountability for turn time and manage a national portfolioCommunicate clearly and professionally with stakeholdersUse technology systems to support loan processing and funding proceduresAdapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

High School Diploma or GEDOne year of experience in loan closing or real estate transactionsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to make independent decisions and solve problemsClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionDependable and adaptable in a deadline-driven environmentProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlinesAbility to build and maintain stakeholder relationshipsAnalytical skills for issue identification and resolution

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related fieldThree years of experience in multifamily or commercial loan closingsExperience with HUD Settlement StatementsFamiliarity with SNDA’s, estoppels, and tenant lease abstractsExperience working with complex borrowing entities (LLCs, corporations, trusts)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience coordinating with third-party vendors in real estate transactions

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Work schedules will be full-time in office, on a 40-hour per week schedule.Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
