Loan Accounting and Reconciliation Analyst

Join our dynamic team as a Loan Accounting and Reconciliation Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting. Bring your expertise to support multiple business lines and drive operational excellence. As a Loan Servicing Analyst within the Wholesale Lending Services team, you will provide essential reconciliation and exception management support for loan processing. You will monitor and review activity posted to various general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s Policy and Procedures. Your role will involve oversight and governance of aging exceptions, focusing on established clearing standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform End of Day processing/settlement of DDA transactions for the ACBS loan system.Analyze, research, and correct reconciling differences between loan systems, the General Ledger (SAP), and various data warehouses.Participate in general ledger and loan systems projects, including conversions, testing, and enhancement implementations.Identify and address outages and reconciliation issues impacting internal business partners within required SLAs.Generate and distribute various daily, weekly, or monthly reconciliation reports.Provide direction to Loan Operations staff on transaction processing or adjustments to correct errors and outages.Perform Treasury-related functions, including COF and break-funding.Develop and maintain written operational procedures for all tasks performed and cross-train to support team members effectively.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

College degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience with commercial loans.Two years of experience in accounting, substantiation, and reconciliation functions.Knowledge of commercial loan systems and applications, including Loan IQ, ACBS, VLS, CRELA, STRATEGY, SAP, Customer Assist, eServe, and MITs.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and judgment skills.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

In-depth experience in accounting, substantiation, and reconciliation functions.Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal and external groups.Experience participating in Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) testing, exams, and audits.Demonstrated experience in developing innovative solutions in financial or operational processes.Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to drive decision-making and improve servicing operations.Familiarity with Treasury-related functions and processes.
