**Job Title: Loader/Unloader** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Loader/Unloaders. This role involves operating a Raymond cherry picker during the 2nd shift hours from Monday to Friday, either from 3:30 PM to 12 AM or 4:30 PM to 1 AM. Candidates will initially train on the 1st shift. This position requires hands-on involvement in various warehouse functions, including picking, packing, processing, and unloading trailers by hand. **Responsibilities** + Operate a cherry picker to pull material, packages, and items for shipping/packing. + Load and unload trucks as needed, ensuring proper paperwork is completed. + Conduct inventory control and pack orders for small parcel shipments. + Assist with receiving responsibilities and supply raw materials to departments as needed. + Maintain general housekeeping practices throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. + Ensure the physical condition of all equipment is maintained. + Assist other operators in a team environment and follow all company policies and procedures. + Work overtime as needed, including weekends, and perform duties as assigned by management. + Record parcel deliveries and deliver them to appropriate persons or departments. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of order picking or cherry picker experience. + 2 years of forklift experience. + 3+ years of warehouse experience. + Ability to lift at least 70 lbs. frequently and carry at least 60 lbs. occasionally. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work orders. + Experience with material handling equipment. + Ability to operate sit-down forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and swing reach trucks. **Work Environment** The facility is a typical warehouse environment that is not climate controlled and may experience slightly cold or hot conditions. The warehouse includes racking up to 30 feet high and multiple loading docks. Employees must adhere to a professional warehouse appearance, wearing steel-toed shoes, safety vests, and appropriate attire. Training is conducted during the 1st shift, and breaks include two 10-minute and one 20-minute paid lunch. The team size varies by shift, with 20 people on the 1st shift and 5 to 10 people on the 2nd shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
