Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Loader Operator in a manufacturing facility where you will play a crucial role in controlling the flow of inventory in an outdoor yard. You will be responsible for driving an outdoor forklift, managing shipping and receiving tasks, communicating with delivery drivers, and maintaining general yard housekeeping. This position offers a unique opportunity to operate a diesel cat loader, ideal for individuals with strong sit-down forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Operate an outdoor diesel cat loader forklift efficiently.Manage shipping and receiving operations.Communicate effectively with delivery drivers to ensure smooth operations.Maintain general housekeeping of the yard.Load flatbed trailers with precision.Engage in inventory control, kitting, picking, and packing tasks.

Essential Skills

Strong experience with sit-down diesel forklifts.Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.Forklift certification is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with overhead crane operations.Knowledge of oilfield equipment, primarily rigs.

Work Environment

Located in SE Calgary, the facility currently hosts approximately 50 trades workers and is poised for expansion in 2026. Enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime available after 8 hours in any given day.
