LOA Specialist
Description We are looking for an experienced LOA Specialist to manage and coordinate leave requests and accommodations for external clients. This role requires a proactive approach to administering leave processes, ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive client experience through attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and superior customer service. Responsibilities: • Administer and oversee leave requests and accommodations for external clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Facilitate the leave administration process, including handling accommodations and coordinating with appropriate parties. • Manage return-to-work procedures and ensure seamless transitions for employees. • Utilize a web-based platform to monitor and manage leaves of absence across multiple states. • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, supervisors, employees, and internal teams throughout the leave process. • Provide guidance on documentation requirements and responsibilities for all involved parties. • Collaborate with internal teams to address benefit-related inquiries and ensure accurate information is provided. • Ensure compliance with multi-state regulatory requirements and company policies. • Monitor and update records related to leave administration and benefit accommodations. • Assist with COBRA administration and other benefit-related tasks as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leave administration or benefits management. • Strong proficiency in managing leaves of absence within a compliance-driven, multi-state environment. • Familiarity with benefit products such as medical, dental, disability, and flexible spending plans. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness. • Knowledge of COBRA administration and related processes. • Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
