Job specification:
Mostly sole charge care – parents run a family business and will be around at times Responsible for the daily routine- planning activities that encourage the girl’s development and encourage their emotional wellbeing, independence and good manners Nursery runs- older daughter in nursery 4 days per week (term time) Keeping the play areas tidy and organized – stocking with new toys, arts and crafts supplies as needed Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the girls – youngest has a peanut allergy Arranging play dates and activities in and out of the home with their cousins who are local Assisting with the children’s laundry as needed (family employ a full-time housekeeper that will generally take care of the laundry) Driving the children- car provided Occasional babysitting, some travel or proxy parenting – mutually agreed
Candidate specification:
The family are looking for a career nanny who genuinely loves children and can demonstrate their confidence with this age group The ideal nanny will be proactive, organised and professional A nanny who enjoys the outdoors and will embrace living close to a beach A confident driver and swimmer are required Must be comfortable around a large dog (very friendly Ridgeback) Fluent English skills are required- good communication is encouraged and ability to work collaboratively with parents. They are hands-on parents who appreciate a nanny who can read the room — knowing when to step in, when to step back and how to make the day flow smoothly for everyone. A British passport is also a must
Accommodation: Separate accommodation provided
Salary: £55,000 gross plus depending on your experience
DBS and Paediatric check required at offer stage
