A warm and busy household is seeking a proactive and capable Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper to take full ownership of the care and daily routine of a bright and active 6-year-old girl. The child spends 50% of her time with Mum due to shared custody.
Mum is looking for someone who can confidently step into the role without the need for micromanagement and who can bring structure, reliability, and initiative to the household.
The family home is a spacious 5-bedroom property arranged over four floors.
Job specification:
Childcare Organising and attending playdates, after-school clubs, and activities Doing the school runs (10-minute drive) Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the child Supporting routines, providing structure, and ensuring a warm, positive environment Housekeeping Laundry and wardrobe care Vacuuming, cleaning, and general household upkeep Maintaining a tidy, organised living environment Light household tasks relating to both the child and the home Accommodation: Private bedroom, bathroom, and small kitchenette (basement level)
Candidate requirements: Driver with a full clean licence (automatic car provided) Confident, proactive, and able to manage the day without supervision Adaptable and willing to “muck in” wherever needed Warm, well-rounded personality who builds genuine rapport with children Strong experience as a Nanny/Housekeeper in private households Someone reliable with a long-term mindset Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
