Education focused nanny required for professional family in Southwest London working with school aged children.

 

Job Summary:  Professional parents are looking for a nanny who enjoys working with school aged children. The role would suit someone with a background in education and academia who can help the children with their homework and preparation for exams.

 

Extra information:  Eden has placed their current nanny who is sadly moving overseas.

 

Job specification:

Sole charge care of both boys Driving the children, school, play dates and afterschool activities Assisting with homework and exam prep Organising the weekly food shop for the family Responsible for the children laundry and keeping their rooms and play areas tidy and organised While the children are at school the Nanny will be responsible for all the administration related to school / clubs etc for the children including managing the children’s time e.g. scheduling playdates, doctor’s appointments, , and all uniform requirements etc. Preparing healthy nutritious (and delicious!) evening meals / snacks etc.

 

Candidate specification:

Have a good understanding and experience of working with children of a similar age. Confident driving in London Native English is required to help with homework, exam prep It is important that you have good communication skills, is highly organised and enthusiastic about getting the very best out of the children. The family are looking for someone who is patient, caring, fun and energetic Both parents work in demanding jobs, The role is mainly sole charge, the family view you as the third parent and it is very much a team approach as they do like to be involved

Accommodation: Separate space in the main home consisting of own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen

Salary: £50,000 gross plus per annum

Working Days & hours:  Monday to Friday 7am-7.30pm (with a good break during the day when the boys are in school)

DBS and paediatric first aid check required at offer stage
