Job Description
The Litigation Support Specialist ensures that client needs and expectations are satisfied accurately and promptly. This role involves handling various tasks within a Matter Management and Document Collection environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform various collection tasks as requested by the Legal Litigation Team based on provided criteria.Process documents, handle reporting requests, perform uploads, and conduct searches as requested by the Legal Litigation Team.Research extensively in multiple systems for electronic and hard copy documentation for each request.Retrieve data via several programs and systems.Transfer and monitor data, including creating proper chain of custody forms.Communicate with other business areas to request documents, access, or assistance in retrieving requested documents.Provide continuous feedback on process improvements from both an onsite support team and client perspective.Assist with ongoing creation and updates of policies, processes, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient output that meets client expectations.Record metrics for tasks completed.Provide updates on the progress of each request via email notifications or other assigned documentation.Manage competing deadlines.Follow standard operating procedures for received requests, including updating client-approved process changes.Essential SkillsProfessional demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively with lawyers and executive-level individuals.Experience working with multiple software systems simultaneously (20+ systems).Basic skills and experience working with Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdobe and OneDrive experience.Knowledge of Excel formulas.Data entry, filing, administrative support, legal document handling, scanning, and litigation skills.Strong data analysis, time management, and attention to detail.Flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.Clear verbal and written communication.Organizational skills and efficient multi-tasking.Ability to maintain a professional environment.Critical thinking and self-motivation.Work Environment
The position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite presence at least two days a week, with four to five days onsite during training. Wednesday is a mandatory onsite day. The work environment includes a half-hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks during the day.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
