Litigation Paralegal - (St. Louis, MO)

Position Overview

A litigation-focused paralegal role supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while working both independently and collaboratively in a well respected law firm.

Key Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and organize documents received from clients and third parties at attorney directionPrepare and maintain electronic and physical case files in accordance with firm proceduresAssist attorneys with preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedingsMonitor deadlines and proactively manage case-related tasks and assignmentsCoordinate and support litigation-related activities as neededPerform additional duties as assignedMaintain strict confidentiality of all client and organizational information

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experienceSeveral years of litigation experience preferredParalegal certificate preferredEquivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanorProficiency with legal support tools and general office technologyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and ExcelFamiliarity with legal procedures and general office practicesAbility to interact tactfully and professionally with attorneys, staff, court personnel, and external contacts
