Lithographic Press Operator
**Job Title: Offset Press Operator** **Job Description** As an Offset Press Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain offset printing presses. Your role is crucial in ensuring high-quality printed materials by adjusting settings, monitoring processes, and making necessary adjustments to achieve precise color, registration, and overall print quality. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate offset printing presses. + Ensure high-quality print by adjusting settings and monitoring processes. + Make necessary adjustments to achieve accurate color, registration, and print quality. + Read job tickets to ensure proper materials are used. + Match colors accurately and maintain consistency across print runs. + Place registration and artwork position on sheets. + Adjust feeder and delivery sections for various sheet sizes. + Perform basic maintenance on the press and ensure print quality throughout runs. + Use the AVP system for consuming raw materials. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Deep understanding of offset lithography processes, including plate preparation, ink and water balance, and press setup. + Familiarity with prepress technology and workflows, including file preparation, color separation, and plate imaging. + Ability to match colors accurately and maintain consistency across print runs. + Skilled in operating and maintaining lithographic presses such as Heidelberg and Komori. + Understanding of post-press processes like cutting, folding, and binding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical and machine operation skills. + Troubleshooting and machine setup expertise. + Experience with offset presses, prepress, and quality assurance. + 3 - 5 years of relative Litho Printing Operation experience. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision and quality in its printing processes.
