**Job Title: Linen Worker** **Job Description**
Join our team as a Linen Worker where you will be responsible for distributing linens throughout the hospital. You will oversee multiple floors, ensuring that all clean linens are put away in their designated spots. While the bins you will maneuver weigh approximately 50 pounds, you will not be required to enter patient rooms and will primarily interact with nursing staff.
**Responsibilities**
+ Distribute clean linens across various floors of the hospital.
+ Ensure linens are placed in their appropriate locations.
+ Handle bins weighing approximately 50 pounds safely and efficiently.
+ Interact with nursing staff to fulfill linen needs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in janitorial, general labor, or housekeeping roles.
+ Material handling skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong attendance record and willingness to learn.
+ Compliance with hospital policy regarding personal appearance, including short nails and the prohibition of acrylic nails.

**Work Environment**
This position is based onsite at the hospital with openings available at the Main Campus. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a requirement to work every third weekend from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Employees will be provided with five blue scrub uniforms, and sneakers are permitted. Orientation will be conducted on the premises before commencing duties at the hospital.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
