Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Perform automated system level testing on network switching equipment to determine product functionality. This role involves monitoring failures, reporting them, and ensuring product assembly and packaging meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct automated system level testing (Pre-Test, Burn-In, and Final Test) on network switching equipment.Monitor and report failures during tests to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.Report any test software or equipment issues to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.Assemble mechanical and electrical components, including Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) into product cases.Inspect PCBA and metal work according to inspection procedures.Complete final assembly and packaging of products.Utilize fixtures and power/hand tools in accordance with product specifications.Adhere to detailed process instructions and work towards meeting daily goals.Prepare and kit picklists for the lines while assisting peers with water spider and de-trashing activities.Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment by following procedures.Contribute to team success by sharing ideas and accomplishing related results.Work at various workstations or areas on a rotational basis to reduce fatigue.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in manufacturing.3+ years of experience in electrical assembly.Experience in line assembly.Familiarity with ISA, 5's, ESD, and lean manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

SAP inventory experience is a plus.Test tech experience.PCB experience.

Work Environment

Work the first shift from 7 am to 4 pm in a dynamic and professional setting. Utilize a variety of tools and equipment in a clean and organized facility

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $22.00/hr.
