Job Title: CNC Mill OperatorResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines, specifically horizontal mills, to machine steel parts.Load and unload parts from the machine and perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Create parts for the end products and ensure accuracy by following work orders and print instructions.Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments as trained.Work independently, particularly during the third shift.Essential Skills3+ years of CNC operating experience.Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality inspections.Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.Capability to work 10-hour shifts, potentially five days a week.Experience with machining and CNC operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Fanuc controls on horizontal mills.Ability to perform setups, changeovers, tool changes, and adjust speeds and feeds.Experience in quality inspection and blueprint reading.Why Work Here?

Employees follow a 4-10 schedule with first and third shifts. Training is conducted during the day shift for 2-3 months before transitioning to third shift. The company encourages work-life balance, with third shift starting on Monday nights to allow full weekends for family time. Dress code is relaxed, with tasteful attire allowed, and no steel toe footwear required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
