Line Mechanic
**Job Title: Line Mechanic** **Job Description** Join our team as a Line Mechanic where you will operate at the level of an apprentice with a sense of urgency to learn about plant processing and packaging equipment. Your role will involve performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant processing and packaging equipment. **Responsibilities** + Operate at the level of an apprentice with urgency to learn plant processing and packaging equipment issues. + Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on equipment. + Maintain proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + Comply with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), and HACCP guidelines. **Essential Skills** + Mechanic skills + Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge + Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting expertise + Experience inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial food processing and packaging equipment + Knowledge of gear, belt, calibration, crane, production, pipe, motor, sensor, drive, conveyor, electrical systems + Experience with 480V processes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum high school diploma + 1 to 3 years industrial maintenance experience + Demonstrate high levels of precision, accuracy, and alertness + Good decision-making skills + Ability to lift 50 lbs intermittently + Strong industrial electrical knowledge + Proficiency in using trade tools **Why Work Here?** Experience great benefits from day one, including life and disability insurance, medical, vision, dental, and a 401k with a 3% company contribution. Expect varying temperatures, from hot in the summer to cold in the winter, with some areas maintaining extremely cold conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brunswick, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
