Job Description
As a line maintenance technician, you will be the first line of maintenance, responsible for basic upkeep on machines and troubleshooting issues before calling in the maintenance team. You will work on the floor to troubleshoot machinery and equipment, make adjustments, and perform small repairs. Your role will include testing equipment, checking sensors, and completing mechanical repairs. Tooling repairs and changeovers on machinery are a daily task, ensuring machines run smoothly post-changeover. Communication with various departments is key, and you will document daily activities using a computer.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot machinery and equipment on the floor.Perform basic maintenance and small repairs on machines.Make adjustments to machinery as needed.Test equipment and check sensors.Repair tooling and complete tooling fixtures.Perform daily changeovers on machinery and ensure proper function post-changeover.Conduct quality checks on initial parts post-changeover.Adapt to various tasks including changeovers, repairs, and assembly work.Handle minimal electrical work such as changing low voltage sensors.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of mechanical aptitude.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Ability to read blueprints.Basic computer skills for reporting.Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.70 - $24.30/hr.
