Job Title: Lead Assembler
Job Description

Join our team to create sub-assemblies of printed circuit boards with applicable components and assemble completed electro-mechanical units using sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in a through-hole fashion using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.Conduct electrical function tests at the printed circuit board and final assembly level using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.Perform other duties as required, such as packing.Essential SkillsMinimum 4 months of production work experience.Ability to lift up to 26 lbs.Ability to stand at the workstation for 8+ hours.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssembler experience is a plus.High School Diploma/GED.Electro-mechanical aptitude is desirable.Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals.Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities.Ability to follow through on tasks to completion.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced production environment with tight quarters, where deadlines are crucial. Basic production work area requires eye protection and protective shoes, and no loose clothing is allowed. Shifts available include 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-3:00 PM), 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday 3:00 PM-1:30 AM with potential overtime on Fridays), and 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 10:00 PM-6:00 AM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
