AM Line Cook

Job Summary

Cambria Downtown Austin is seeking a dependable and motivated AM Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This position is responsible for preparing and executing breakfast and morning menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness in a hotel kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast and AM menu items according to recipes and brand standards

Set up and break down stations for morning service

Ensure food is prepared in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, equipment, and workstations

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines

Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and stocking as needed

Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen team members

Support overall kitchen operations during peak service times

Qualifications

Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (hotel or breakfast experience a plus)

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Strong time management and multitasking skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
