Join our team as a Light Assembler, where you will be an integral part of our assembly process. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with opportunities for overtime. As a Light Assembler, you will work on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with potential overtime until 5:00pm, and occasional Saturday overtime.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with another team member to complete tasks in the assembly process.Fill assembly orders from start to finish according to company quality standards.Read instruction sheets, PCPs, and other vital production documents.Log information on daily or weekly log sheets as required by the department.Receive and verify parts for the assembly process according to order.Process parts as instructed by the PCP.Use manual tools or switches and simple automatic machines.Separate and document failed parts.Prepare parts for the next production step.Work with other team members and leaders to problem solve.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude.Ability to work effectively in a team.Basic math skills, including calculator and computer use.Capability to perform quality checks.Proficiency in operating simple machines and hand tools (including air machine, wrench, and expander gun).Ability to lift 15 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in assembly, packing, material handling, valve testing, and machine operating.Familiarity with blueprint reading, inspection of parts, and use of micrometers, hand tools, and gauges.Why Work Here?We are committed to creating worldwide customer delight by providing the highest quality products and the most responsive customer support. Work EnvironmentYou will primarily work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures vary with the season and the noise level can be moderate to high. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and safety shoes are required as per company safety standards. Expect to stand for long periods, lift and move at least 15 pounds, and engage in repetitive hand and arm movements while working with small parts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
