Additionally drives Ebenezer bus for resident outings. **Responsibilities** + Assists with leisure programs and activities: + Leads social events and activity programs. + Conducts exercise class for residents. + Communicates and coordinates activity/leisure programs with all departments. + Assists other departments with special events and family functions. + Documents as required. + Offers suggestions and ideas to improve the events program to the Life Enrichment Director. + Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents: + Encourages resident participation. + Reports change in resident attitude, mood or physical status to appropriate staff. + Promotes resident independence by offering choices and fostering self-help skills. + Assists residents in developing relationships and effectively socializing. + Drives Ebenezer van/bus for resident outings: + Reviews and completes Vehicle Requirements – Transporting Residents Checklist prior to each resident outing. + Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period. + Responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers. + Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services including but not limited to: fire/disaster procedures and infection control procedures. + Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents. + Follows all laws with regard to operating a motor vehicle. + Immediately reports any traffic violations or accidents. **Required Qualifications** + None to 1 Year + Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications + Must be able to work irregular hours, occasional weekends and evenings + Drivers License Current Driver’s License (in good standing) + Medical Exam Certification + Must be at least 18-years old + Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage + Must complete and pass in-house Transportation Course **Preferred Qualifications** + One to Three Years **Benefit Overview** Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
