Job Description
This position involves managing and processing waivers and release forms in a construction/manufacturing environment. The goal is to ensure quick turnaround in customer payment cycles, prompt conversion of receivables into cash, and minimizing past-due accounts.
ResponsibilitiesApply company Credit and Collection policies, practices, and procedures to meet credit requirements.Analyze requests for waivers and perform investigations of information supplied by customers for waiver completion, including AR balances and change orders.Research and validate waiver data benefiting from Construction Lien Laws both internally and externally.Manage and update Construction Lien laws as changes occur and/or are applicable to specific projects.Submit waiver approvals beyond personal authority to the immediate supervisor, providing necessary reports, data, analyses, and recommendations.Reconcile and submit for processing vendor invoices related to NTO filings.Manage all audit requests for the credit department.Have full authority within approved policies, procedures, standards, and defined limits on waiver matters within the defined area of responsibility, subject to approval by the Credit Manager/Director of Credit & Collections.Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.Essential Skills2-4 years of administrative experience related to waivers and contract language in a construction/manufacturing environment.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.Attention to detail.Ability to type 40 words per minute.Knowledge of lien laws and waiver processes.Work Environment
The role offers flexibility and collaboration within the team. Training will be onsite for 1-2 weeks, after which the position is mostly remote. Working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM with a flexible lunch break. Team culture is highly valued, with regular team outings and happy hours to ensure a thriving work environment. The Credit and Collection team includes four credit managers and one administrator.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.45 - $33.66/hr.
