NaphCare is hiring a Radiology Technologist – Contractor to work on-site at the Federal Correctional Institution in Edgefield, SC.
This is a long-term contract position (no end-date). Work schedule is Monday - Friday with some flexibility to work between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; 8:00 - 4:00; 9:00 - 5:00. Pay is very competitive.
As a Correctional Radiology Technologist, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to utilize the medical imaging equipment on-site to create images of the incarcerated patients for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries.
ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Technologist works under the direction of the radiologist. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Pull, file, and scan all radiological recordsSchedule, perform, and document all radiological testing, including annual tuberculosis testing and emergency proceduresMaintain inventory, stock, re-order, and replace radiology suppliesEnsure that all equipment related to radiology services is properly maintained and functioningEnsure all state regulations comply with Radiation Control Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsExperience / Requirements / Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited JCERT programMust possess and be able to maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; AHA or American Red Cross, preferredIntegrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirementsMust pass drug screening and facility background check
