We are in search of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in delivering exceptional patient care and support to the physicians. People and communication skills are essential to the success of this role and the applicant must be able to remain flexible and work in two different locations.\n
Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nPerform clinical duties in accordance with the scope of practice per LPN license and in \naccordance with NYS laws and regulations.\nCarry out all assigned clinical procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients, per practice protocol.\nTake and record patient's vital signs.\nPrepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment and supplies per protocols.\nAssist physicians\/providers with procedures, patient care and\/or scheduling, per office protocol\nProvide call management for physicians\/providers with regard to clinical questions, prescription refills, test results and other patient calls per practice protocols.\nPrepare patient's record for visit, as directed by physician\/provider.\nParticipates in scheduled team meetings to discuss \/clarify roles, responsibility, processes, and patient issues\nParticipates in quality improvement activities and committees, as requested\n\n

Required Skills and Experience:\n\nGraduation from an accredited LPN program\nCurrent NYS licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)\nDemonstrated clinical competency\nKnowledge of medical terminology \nKnowledge of diseases and treatment\nAbility to apply aseptic tech and sterilization\nKnowledge of the practice management system, EMR and scheduling protocols\nBasic keyboard skill\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nHigh level of accuracy in performing responsibilities\nExceptional service attitude and communication style\nProfessional appearance and demeanor\n\n

Location and Travel Requirements:\n\nOnsite - Cayuga Orthopedics: 16 Brentwood Drive, Suite A, Ithaca, NY 14850\nShift - Five 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm\nTravel - 0% Travel can be expected in this role\n\n

Pay Range Disclosure:\n\nStandard rate $24.04 - $32.21 per hour\n\n
