FlexStaff is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Assisted Living Facility in Staten Island, NY to work with one of our clients, a multi-service home care organization.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
The pace in assisted living facilities is generally slower, as residents are typically stable and require less critical care, making for a less stressful work environment compared to hospitals.
Requirements:

Patient Care: Provide basic nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and administer medications. Health Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in residents conditions. Medical Assistance: Perform basic medical procedures (e.g., wound care) under supervision and maintain infection control. Emotional Support: Offer companionship and communicate effectively with residents and families. Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records and participate in care plan development. Collaboration: Work with healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive resident care. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to policies and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
